The Museum of Indigenous People (MIP) is the only museum in the Greater Prescott Area devoted to the culture and art of Native American people. Formerly the Smoki Museum, our mission is to instill understanding and respect for the indigenous cultures of the Southwest.

CONTRIBUTIONS - the new special exhibit at the Museum of Indigenous People has opened and will run from February 13th to July 31st, 2026. We can't wait to see you!
